A use of one or more of a ginkgo biloba terpene lactone compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester, hydrate, solvate, or isomer thereof, or any crystal form, racemate, or metabolite of same, or a mixture of same as an active ingredient in the preparation of drugs for the prevention and/or treatment of tremors, and healthcare products. The problem of the lack of drugs for the prevention or treatment of tremors in the current pharmaceutical field is solved. The ginkgo biloba terpene lactone compound and composition can both significantly improve the disease condition of essential tremor model mice； the ameliorating effect of a ginkgo biloba terpene lactone B and bilobalide composition and a ginkgolide A, ginkgolide B, and ginkgolide C composition on the essential tremor model mice is close to that of the positive control drug propranolol hydrochloride.
