PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a subcritical water treatment object of silk in which silk is subjected to subcritical water treatment, and to provide silk products with a novel effect to utilize for cosmetics a hydrolyzed silk solution or silk powders obtained by the production method.SOLUTION: There is provided a transparent hydrolyzed silk solution obtained by subcritical water treatment of silk, or silk powders obtained from the hydrolyzed solution having a moisturizing action and dispersing to water homogeneously.
