PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which enhances fitness in a front area and suppresses urine leakage effectively.SOLUTION: First elastic members 16B are disposed in an extended state at both side parts of a width direction Y of an absorbent article 10 over an area where an absorber 13 is present among a longitudinal direction X of the article 10. Second elastic members 20 extending in the longitudinal direction are disposed in the extended state at both side parts of the width direction Y of the article 10 only at a position which overlaps with a front area A in a thickness direction. The second elastic members 20 are positioned closer to a rear surface sheet 12 than the absorber 13. At the central position in the width direction Y of the absorber 13, a core material 15 extending along the longitudinal direction and not containing a high absorbent polymer is disposed. The core material 15 is positioned closer to the rear surface sheet 12 than the absorber 13, and positioned in an area where a third elastic member 22 is disposed in the longitudinal direction X.
