PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper diaper with leg hole edges not to easily flap so that the leg holes look neat to achieve the excellent outside appearance.
SOLUTION: The pull-up paper diaper comprises a contour sheet 1 and an absorbent core 13 extending in the longitudinal direction around the crotch part on the inner surface of the contour sheet 1. The pull-up paper diaper has a waist hole part and left and right leg hole parts in the use state. A plurality of thread-like or cord-like waist elastic members 20F and 20B are disposed parallel in the circumferential direction at prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction in the waist part W of the pull-up paper diaper. The stretching stress and the sectional contour of under-waistline elastic members 21F, 21B and a shaping elastic member 23B are smaller than the stretching stress and sectional contour of the waist elastic members 20F and 20B. The shaping elastic member 23B is extended along each leg hole part, and crosses a leg elastic member 24 or 24 in the vicinity of the leg hole part.
