Emergency system (10) comprises a device for sterilization by using waste heat from a fuel cell system (18), a device for extraction of water from the fuel cell system, a device for processing, cleaning, desalinating and/or sterilizing fluids, a device for treating air, a device for influencing temperature of air, pressure of air and/or composition of air and humidity degree of air, a sterilization device for influencing a purity of air, an absorption cooling device, and a device for generating and/or processing a cleaning fluid or a precursor of the cleaning fluid. Emergency system (10) comprises a device for sterilization by using waste heat from a fuel cell system (18), a device for extraction of water from the fuel cell system, a device for processing, cleaning, desalinating and/or sterilizing fluids, a device for treating air, a device for influencing temperature of air, pressure of air and/or composition of air and humidity degree of air, a sterilization device for influencing purity of air, an absorption cooling device, a device for generating and/or processing a cleaning fluid or a precursor of the cleaning fluid, a device for generating and/or processing food or precursor of the food, a device for generating and/or processing a medicine or a precursor of the medicine, a device for generating and/or processing a material or a precursor of the material, a device for providing electrical and/or thermal energy, a container-like outer shell, a fuel tank (20) arranged outside of the container-like outer shell, and a protection chamber (12) for a person (14) and/or an object, which are not a part of the emergency system.
