The present invention relates to a safety syringe having a side revolving-type safety means applied thereto. Components are minimized, so excellent assembling properties and operational properties are ensured. Compared to conventional time, a structure related to safety is actively improved, so more stable sliding movement is ensured for a needle and it is also induced that unexpected antidromic movement is not allowed. Thus, a needle part is overall blocked from the outside, and a user is protected from secondary infection or the like which may be caused after using a syringe. The safety syringe comprises a safety means (100) coupled with a syringe cylinder (10) or a needle holder (20), and determining the blocking of the end of the needle by sliding and being developed on the needle.
