Abstract - 602203 Disclosed is a method of producing a heated / sterilised liquid preparation containing lacto-N-biose, the method comprising: A) preparing a liquid composition by: i) adding an acid to a solvent to adjust the pH at 25°C of not less than 2.0 and not more than 5.5 and subsequently dissolving lacto-N-biose； or ii) adding an acid to a solvent in which lacto-N-biose has been dissolved so as to adjust the pH at 25°C of not less than 2.0 and not more than 5.5； and B) heating the liquid composition at a temperature of 65°C or higher. Further disclosed is a product containing heated lacto-N-biose, the method comprising: producing a dried product by drying a liquid preparation obtained by the above method, and mixing the dried product and a product selected from the group consisting of a food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and feed.
