PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus by which an examinee is observed with a high-resolution image by adjusting so that an image to be output may be optimally focused when observing the examinee, while it outputs the image by setting a focus to a nearly fixed state ordinarily, a focus adjustment method for the imaging apparatus and an endoscopic device equipped with the imaging apparatus.
SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 10 is equipped with: an objective 11 an imaging device 13 disposed coaxially with the optical axis L11 of the objective 11 and receiving incident light condensed by the objective 11 so as to acquire the image repeatedly an imaging device moving means 16 moving the imaging device 13 on the optical axis L11 of the objective 11 and a control unit 15 comparing the image acquired this time by the imaging device 13 with the image acquired previous time thereby, and controlling the imaging device moving means 16 to adjust the position of the imaging device 13 to a focus position when there is no change between the images acquired this time and previous time.
