The present invention relates to the use of a positioning immediate-release bioadhesive in the manufacture of oral medicaments for preventing or/and treating various diseases and disorders related to absorption via the duodenal, jejunal and gastric mucosa, wherein the bioadhesive reduces absorption by adhering to and covering said mucosa.
