PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which increases absorptivity of a whole absorber while increasing liquid diffusibility of the absorber.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes: a liquid-permeable surface sheet 14 a liquid-impermeable rear surface sheet 12 and an absorber 13 arranged between the surface sheet 14 and the rear surface sheet 12. In the absorber 13, a plurality of recesses 502 are formed on the surface on the surface sheet 14 side. The plurality of recesses 502 are arranged in the way that a groove 501 radially extends in a peripheral direction of the absorber 13 from a central part MO of the absorber 13.
