PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which can rapidly induce the formation of bone tissue and is low in the energy cost of a porous ceramic material excellent in bioaffinity.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for the porous ceramic material includes a step (step A) which fills slurry for manufacturing the porous ceramic material containing a high molecule having a heterocyclic ring at a side ring, alcohol and ceramic raw material particles with a container and freezes the slurry in one direction from one end side by cooling the container from one end side, a step (step B) for obtaining a molded body by drying the frozen slurry and a step (step C) for firing the dried molded body.
