<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for observing light emission and system for observing the light emission, enabling the observation of a light-emitting image having a higher quantitative property without being affected by transmitted light or exciting light. <P>SOLUTION: This method for observing the light emission includes a step of bright view field observation and/or fluorescent light observation by applying luminescent light to the bright view field observation and/or exciting light for the fluorescent light observation to an organism specimen introduced with a gene expressing a luminous protein, an interval controlling step of detecting luminosities over time after the step of the bright view field observation and/or fluorescent light observation, setting intervals for eliminating noises derived from the luminescent light and/or exciting light based on the obtained luminosities and also controlling the intervals based on the set interval conditions, and a light-emitting image-taking step of taking the images of the light-emitting images after completing the intervals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
