PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, swinging a vibrator and easily obtaining blood flow information.
SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe comprises a vibrator unit 11 for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to/from a subject P, a swing arm 25 for swingably holding the vibrator unit 11, and a driving means of a first motor 21 for swing-driving the swing arm 25 to swing the vibrator unit 11. The swing arm 25 holds the vibrator unit 11 at a prescribed angle &theta so as to transmit and receive the ultrasonic waves in a swing direction between the swing direction of the vibrator unit 11 and the subject direction of the subject P which is a direction opposite to the direction of the swing center of the vibrator unit 11 orthogonal to the swing direction, and the direction other than the subject direction.
