An ultrasound transducer according to the present invention includes a plurality of ultrasound elements, each of the ultrasound elements including at least an element configured to emit an ultrasound wave according to an input of an electrical signal and convert the ultrasound wave entered from an outside into an echo signal, and a plurality of acoustic matching layers laminated on the element and configured to match acoustic impedance between the element and an observation target, and a connecting portion protruding to an opposite side of the element with respect to a plane passing through a surface of the acoustic matching layer, and configured to connect the ultrasound elements adjacent to each other among the plurality of ultrasound elements.
