PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and excellently suppress fat proton signals within the limit of an SAR and to improve contrast between lesion tissue and peripheral tissue in an MRI apparatus.SOLUTION: A binominal IR pulse method for inverting the vertical magnetization of fat proton for 180 degrees is used.
