Also disclosed is a processfor obtaining an Echinozoa tissue or organ extract, as well as an extractobtained by this process. Compositions comprising suchan extract are also described. Uses of such extracts/compositions, as well ascorresponding methods of treatment, for example asan antioxidant or to decrease or inhibit oxidative stress in a cell, tissue orsubject are also described.
