PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment tool for an endoscope in which opening/closing movement of a treatment piece is easy in the case of rotating the endoscope in a peripheral direction.SOLUTION: The operation of the operating wire 3 in the progressing and retracting direction is made easy and the opening/closing movement of the treatment part 6 is made easy by not transmitting the difference of the rotating forces of the sheath 2 and the operating wire 7 generated when the front end side of the sheath 2 is rotated in the peripheral direction to the connecting rod 5 by an arranging the connecting rod 5 having the holding part 5a for rotatably holding one end of the operating wire 3 to the connecting rod 5.
