PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suture cutting device for an endoscope simply structured and capable of easily cutting a suture.SOLUTION: A suture cutting device for an endoscope includes: a tubular sheath (12) a wire (14) inserted in the sheath and a cutting blade (36) for cutting a suture with its sharp tip (36a) a cutting portion (30) connected to a distal end (14b) of the wire an operation part (26) for moving the wire relatively to the sheath along the wire extension direction to allow the cutting portion to be exposed at a distal end of the sheath (12b), or to be stored in the sheath and a grip (20) connected to the sheath and a proximal end of the wire.
