The present invention relates to a lantern used for repelling a pest, which has a function of a lantern for brightening the surroundings and a function of repelling a pest such as mosquito or fly. To this end, the lantern used for repelling a pest of the present invention comprises: a housing having an irradiation hole to be connected vertically to penetrate； an LED module for irradiating light through the irradiation hole of the housing； a diffusion cover coupled to one side of the housing to diffuse the light irradiated by the LED module to the surroundings； a repellent cartridge for emitting a repellent by heat radiated by the LED module； a protective net coupled to the other side of the housing, and vertically communicating to diffuse the repellent to the surroundings； and a finishing cover for covering to finish an open end of the protective net. A net frame having a coupling groove is installed at one end of the housing to allow one end of the protective net to be detachably fitted and coupled thereto. Also, a coupling groove is formed at an inner edge of the finishing cover to be detachably coupled to the other end of the protective net. In addition, a partition frame is installed between the net frame and the finishing cover to divide upper and lower accommodation spaces.
