PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem peculiar to an absorbent article including a body portion and a skin-side absorbing part which is partially separated from the body portion and layered on the body portion in such a state as independently deformable by providing an absorbent article having the above structure, capable of accurately suppressing the movement of an absorber on the skin side of the absorbent article in the lateral direction, closely fitting to a users body and hardly leaking bodily fluid sideways.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 10 has a leakage preventive wall W extending in the longitudinal direction, which can be erected on the skin side separately from the body portion side and which is located outside on either side of the absorber 2 in the lateral direction. A plurality of stretchable elastic members are disposed in the stretched state in the longitudinal direction on the leakage preventive wall, and a planar part which can abut to the skin surface as a plane is formed on a free end side of the leakage preventive wall.
