PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the return of a slide member to its initial position during a motor failure.SOLUTION: An electric slide device 30 includes a gear mechanism 33, a motor 31, and a slide member 34. The gear mechanism 33 includes an input gear 33w and output gears 33h and 35. The motor 31 rotates the input gear 33w of the gear mechanism 33. The slide member 34 is configured to slide between an initial position and a predetermined position by a rotational force of the output gears 33h and 35 of the gear mechanism 33.
