PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage apparatus capable of inhibiting a massage part to massage a part that a user does not intend, by retaining a position of the massage part.SOLUTION: A massage apparatus comprises a massage part 3 reciprocating along a first axis line X predetermined with respect to a massage body 2. A power transmission device 4 for connecting the massage part 3 and a first motor 5 includes a first shaft 6 having an endless spiral track 6a formed thereon, and a slide member 7 that is guided by the track 6a of the first shaft 6 and reciprocates along the first axis line X. The track 6a has a lead angle θ larger than 45° with respect to the axis line of the first shaft 6. The massage part 3 is provided on the slide member 7.
