PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide weeding brush rollers in need of no float, damaging no rice feet, and with no need of making themselves travel/travelling along rice rows, and to provide a method for paddy field weeding using the same.SOLUTION: The method for paddy field weeding is provided, comprising the following way: during an autonomous travel robot As going straight, there is provided with a roller-rotating speed difference between a front weeding brush roller 1 and rear weeding brush roller 1 in the traveling direction i.e., one of (front or rear) the weeding brush rollers 1 is rotated faster, while the other slower relative to the traveling speed of the robot A hence, a slip is caused between the tip of each of flexibly structured support rods 4 and the paddy field surface, thus enabling the paddy field surface to be stirred more powerfully.
