PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can accurately detect a footprint.SOLUTION: A footprint detection system 100 has: a footprint detection sheet 101 including a plurality of radio identification tags 111 which stores specific identification data and has a radio communication function and a reader antenna 112 which is laid below the plurality of radio identification tags 111 and transmits/receives a signal with the plurality of radio identification tags 111； foot detection data output means 102 which is connected to the reader antenna 112, receives an output signal outputted from the radio identification tag 111 through the reader antenna 112, and generates foot detection data on the basis of the received signal intensity to output it； and derivation means which derives foot attribute information indicating an attribute of foot on the footprint detection sheet 101 when the radio identification tag 111 outputs the output signal on the basis of the respective positions of the plurality of radio identification tags 111 and the foot detection data corresponding to the respective radio identification tags 111.
