PURPOSE: An acid-base hydrolysis extraction method of laminaria japonica using caustic soda and acetic acid is provided to decompose the laminaria japonica by inserting purified water and caustic soda to the laminaria japonica powder. CONSTITUTION: An acid-base hydrolysis extraction method of laminaria japonica using caustic soda and acetic acid comprises the following steps: mixing 44~46wt% of purified water, 4~6wt% of caustic soda, and 4~6wt% of laminaria japonica powder with a homo-mixer, and settling for 11~13hours; adding another 44~46wt% of purified water for firstly neutralizing; and inserting the acetic acid to the mixture for neutralizing the mixture into the pH of 6~6.5.
