PURPOSE: A feed additive for pigs of chickens using 5-aminolevulinic acid, Sanguisorba officinalis, and Rhus japonica is provided to replace antibiotic for preventing the infection caused by Escherichia coli. CONSTITUTION: A feed additive for pigs of chickens contains 5-aminolevulinic acid and a mixture fermented extract of Sanguisorba officinalis and Rhus japonica as active materials in a weight ratio of 1:50-500. The mixture fermented extract is obtained by fermenting the Sanguisorba officinalis and Rhus japonica with Aspergillus oryzae or Lactobacillus casei.본 발명은 5-아미노레불린산, 오이풀 및 오배자를 유효성분으로 하는 양돈 및 양계용 사료 첨가제에 관한 것으로, 상기 유효성분은 가축질병의 주요 원인인 대장균에 대한 감염을 예방할 수 있는 효과가 있어, 종래에 사용되어 온 대장균 감염 예방용 항생제를 대체할 수 있으면서도 안전성을 확보할 수 있으므로, 축산농가의 소득증대에 뿐 아니라 나아가 건강한 식생활에 크게 이바지할 수 있을 것이다.
