An aerosol provision device (100) comprising:a first section (200) for containing an aerosolisable substance (20) from which a flow of aerosol can be generated； anda second section (400) for containing a material (30)；wherein, in use, a flow of aerosol generated from aerosolisable substance in the first section (200) flows through material (30) in the second section (400) before being inhaled by a user； and,wherein the first section (200) and the second section (400) are located in a side-by-side arrangement in the device (100) and wherein the first section (200) is a cartridge which is releasably connectable to the aerosol provision device (100).
