PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod appropriately corresponding to action of fish to a bait by enhancing transmission of a strike while maintaining a good reel attachment structure.SOLUTION: A reel seat structure includes: a seat body 3A on the rod tip side and the rod base side of which a pair of hoods 3a, 3b for holding reel legs are provided while sandwiching a reel attachment part 3B； and a pair of support bodies 4, 5 which are located at the rod tip side and the rod base side between the seat body 3A and the rod body 1A and which support the seat body 3A on a support body 1A. The support body 4 at the rod tip side is formed in a partially cylindrical body a part of which is cut out in a circumferential direction so as to occupy a partial region of a space formed between the outer peripheral surface of the rod body 1A and the inner peripheral surface of the seat body 3A, in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
