PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To follow the movement of the heart from the movement of the diaphragm to appropriately photograph the whole heart.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus repeatedly executes imaging scans of the whole heart, detects the quantity of movement of the diaphragm caused by respiration of a subject by executing a probe scan just before the imaging scan, and moves the imaging range for the respective imaging scans based on the quantity of movement of the diaphragm. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a control part 10h for controlling transmission/receiving parts 7 and 9 of RF coils and a gradient magnetic field power supply 3 for repeatedly capturing coronal images on the range including the whole heart and the diaphragm in electrocardiac synchronization a movement quantity generating part 10i for generating the temporal change of the quantity of movement of the diaphragm and the temporal change of the quantity of movement of the heart from the repeatedly captured coronal images a ratio calculating part 10j for calculating the ratio of the quantity of movement of the heart to the quantity of movement of the diaphragm and an image capturing range movement quantity calculating part 10q for calculating the quantity of movement of the image capturing range for the respective image scans by correcting the quantity of movement of the diaphragm for the respective probe scans based on the calculated ratio.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】横隔膜の動きから心臓の動きを追従して心臓全体を好適に撮影すること。【解決手段】心臓全体のイメージングスキャンを繰り返し、その直前にプローブスキャンを実行して被検体の呼吸動による横隔膜の移動量を検出し、横隔膜の移動量に基づいてイメージングスキャン各々による撮像範囲を移動量させる磁気共鳴映像装置において、準備スキャンとして、心臓全体及び横隔膜を含む範囲に関するコロナル画像を心電同期で繰り返し撮像するためにRFコイルの送受信部7、9及び傾斜磁場電源3を制御する制御部10hと、繰り返し撮像されたコロナル画像から横隔膜の移動量の時間変化と心臓の移動量の時間変化とを発生する移動量発生部10iと、横隔膜の移動量に対する心臓の移動量の比率を計算する比率計算部10jと、プローブスキャン各々による横隔膜の移動量を計算された比率に基づいて補正してイメージングスキャン各々による撮像範囲の移動量を計算する撮像範囲移動量計算部10qとを具備する。【選択図】図1
