PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analyzing device capable of clarifying information about images, which constitute an image string time-sequentially picked up by a moving image picking-up device: i.e., what are the moving amounts of the picking-up device in picking up the images.

SOLUTION: The image analyzing device 1 for analyzing the images of the image sequence which are time-sequentially picked up by the moving image picking-up device includes an image analyzing part 6 for calculating the movement distance of the image picking-up device. The image analyzing part 6 includes: a moving amount calculating part 6b for calculating the position deviation of a subject in an image area through the use of correlation between the images, and calculating the moving amount obtained by the movement of the image picking-up device while the respective images are picked up, based on the position deviation and a distance calculating part 6c for calculating the movement distance of the image picking-up device through the use of the moving amount of the image picking-up device.
