The present invention provides a device and a method for eliminating a noise of a radiation image, which calculate a poisson probability distance and a motion adaptive weight from an input radiation image frame, filter the radiation image frame based on the calculated poisson probability distance and the motion adaptive weight, and generate a noise-removed radiation image frame as a result thereof. According to the present invention, the device for eliminating a noise of a radiation image comprises: a first calculation part receiving the radiation image frame, and calculating a first parameter for determining similarity between the patches in the received radiation image frame； a second calculation part calculating a second parameter for determining the degree of a motion between the received radiation image frames； and a noise elimination part filtering the radiation image frame based on the calculated first and second parameters, and outputting a noise-removed radiation image frame as a result thereof.본 발명에 의한 방사선 영상의 노이즈를 제거하기 위한 장치 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 방사선 영상의 노이즈를 제거하기 위한 장치는 방사선 영상 프레임을 입력 받아 입력 받은 상기 방사선 영상 프레임 내 패치 간의 유사성을 판단하기 위한 제1 파라미터를 산출하는 제1 산출부； 입력 받은 상기 방사선 영상 프레임 간의 움직임 정도를 판단하기 위한 제2 파라미터를 산출하는 제2 산출부； 및 산출된 상기 제1 파라미터와 상기 제2 파라미터를 기반으로 상기 방사선 영상 프레임에 대한 필터링을 수행하여 그 수행한 결과로 노이즈가 제거된 방사선 영상 프레임을 출력하는 노이즈 제거부를 포함한다.
