SOLUTION: This detection device 100 includes: an imaging part 101 imaging a visible light image and an invisible light image a calculation part 111 calculating an easiness degree representing the detection easiness of an object based on at least the visible light image a decision part 112 deciding whether or not an easiness degree is higher than a threshold a determination part 114 detecting the object fit for an object model from the visible light image when the easiness degree is higher than the threshold, and determining an area around the object as the monitoring area and a moving body detection part 113 detecting a moving body from the invisible image by the use of the monitoring area.
