The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for determining a constitution in a Sasang typology through input information and measurement information and, more specifically, to an apparatus and a method to calculate a new characteristic value for distinguishing Taeeumin and to determine whether a target is the Taeeumin by using the new characteristic value. Suggested is a computing device to determine whether an object is Taeeumin. The device includes one or more processors and can include calculation and determination units formed by the processors. The calculation unit can calculate a characteristic value which shows a physiological index of a large liver and a small lung by using one or more measurement values and input values regarding the object.
