A tip portion 25 of a half body 21 has a joining plane section 28 formed, whose tip of a flat plate part formed extending towards a right side in the width direction is bent at right angles towards the rear side. Similarly, a tip portion 35 of a half body 31 has a joining plane section 38 formed, whose tip part of a flat plate part formed extending towards a left side in the width direction is bent at right angles towards the rear side. A stopper section 51 for retaining the operation pedal 12 in an initial position is fixed in a state sandwiched between the joining plane sections 28 and 38 that are provided projecting outside a space formed by joining the half bodies 21 and 31. As a result, an operation pedal device for vehicles whose assembling process is easy and which can secure a supporting rigidity with respect to a pivot movement of an operation pedal is provided.
