PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and continuously generating chlorine dioxide gas, suitably used for environmental cleanup, and not only for indoor odor elimination and sterilization but also for removal of allergic substances such as house dusts, pollen, tick bones and fine mildew particles, and for elimination of pests such as ticks and cockroaches, and suppressing the irritating odor of the gas and emitting the gas.SOLUTION: The method for generating and emitting chlorine dioxide gas involves continuously generating chlorine dioxide gas and releasing a gas coexisting agent with the chlorine dioxide gas from a gelatinous composition obtained by adding an activating agent, at least one of a gas generating regulator and a water absorbing resin, and the gas coexisting agent to a chlorite salt aqueous solution or a stabilized chlorine dioxide aqueous solution, and by gelating the mixture.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】環境浄化、室内の消臭および殺菌のみならず、ハウスダスト、花粉、ダニの死骸および微細な黴の粒子などアレルギー性物質の除去、ならびにダニおよびゴキブリなどの害虫の排除などにも好適に用いられる二酸化塩素ガスを効率よくかつ持続的に発生させ二酸化塩素ガスをその刺激臭を抑制して放出させる二酸化塩素ガスの発生放出方法を提供する。【解決手段】本二酸化塩素ガスの発生放出方法は、亜塩素酸塩水溶液または安定化二酸化塩素水溶液に、活性化剤と、ガス発生調節剤および吸水性樹脂の少なくともいずれかと、ガス共存剤とを添加して、ゲル化して得られるゲル状組成物から二酸化塩素ガスを持続的に発生させ、二酸化塩素ガスとともにガス共存剤を放出させることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
