PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope provided with a treatment instrument channel and an image guide, the endoscope preventing the occurrence of black spots and breakage of optical fibers caused by a treatment instrument in a treatment instrument channel pressing the optical fibers in the image guide.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a tip portion in which are formed an opening through which a treatment instrument is protrusible and an imaging hole in which an imaging optical system is disposed a bendable bending portion provided to connect to the proximal end side of the tip portion a flexible tube portion provided to connect to the proximal end side of the bending portion a treatment instrument channel in communication with the proximal end side through the bending portion from the opening in the tip portion and an image guide including a bundle of a plurality of optical fibers provided to extend from inside of the tip portion toward the proximal end side so as to guide light incident from the imaging hole to the proximal end side, the image guide having a reinforcing body for reinforcing a part of the plurality of optical fibers located between the bending start position on the proximal end side of the bending portion and a predetermined position on the distal end side of the flexible tube portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】処置具チャンネル及びイメージガイドを備える内視鏡において、処置具チャンネルの処置具がイメージガイドの光ファイバを圧迫することに起因する黒点の発生及び光ファイバの折れを防止した内視鏡を提供すること。【解決手段】内視鏡は、処置具が突出可能な開口部及び内部に撮像光学系が配設される撮像用孔が形成された先端部と、先端部の基端側に連設された湾曲可能な湾曲部と、湾曲部の基端側に連設された可撓性を有する可撓管部と、先端部の開口部から湾曲部を介して基端側に連通する処置具チャンネルと、先端部の内部から基端側に延伸するように設けられ、撮像用孔から入射した光を基端側に導く複数の光ファイバの束であるイメージガイドであって、湾曲部の基端側の湾曲開始位置と可撓管部の先端側の所定の位置との間に位置する複数の光ファイバの一部を補強する補強体を有するイメージガイドと、を備える。【選択図】図1
