PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for stabilizing a furnace for processing tencha at a desired temperature, and a furnace for processing tencha which can be stabilized at a desired temperature.SOLUTION: In first means of the present invention, a furnace for processing tencha includes a drying chamber having a flue therein, through which combustion air passes to dry tea leaves in the drying chamber by radiant heat.
