The present invention relates to a method for producing a dental component (10), in particular a dental prosthesis or a partial dental prosthesis, by means of a dental furnace, the method comprising the following steps: (i) making a model (16) of the dental component, (ii) embedding the model in an investment material (18), (iii) removing the model from the investment material, in particular by heating or burning out, so as to attain a negative mould (20) of the model, (iv) introducing a raw material that is necessary for producing the dental component into the negative mould, (v) producing the dental component in the negative mould, (vi) deflasking the dental component at least in part in an automated manner, in particular by means of a material-removing manufacturing process, on the basis of a virtual model (14) of the dental component.
