PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is equipped with an examination member for examining a wearer's health condition and with which it is easy for the wearer to grasp the precise health condition.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes: an absorbent core 20 including an absorbent material； a top sheet 30 which is arranged nearer to a skin surface side T1 than the absorbent core 20 and has an absorption region AR overlapping the absorbent core 20 in a thickness direction T； and an examination member 60 for examining a wearer's health condition. The examination member 60 has: a contact part 62 for contacting the wearer's excreta； and a display part 64 for displaying the wearer's health condition. The display part 64 contains an indicator which exhibits color according to an object to be detected included in the excreta in contact with the contact part 62. At least a part of the contact part 62 is arranged within a range that the excreta discharged in the absorption region AR reaches.
