<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of manufacturing pellets that increase production with a minimum change without largely changing existing facilities. <；P>；SOLUTION: The pellet manufacturing apparatus 1 includes a barrel section 2, two screws 4 disposed in a mounting space 3 provided inwardly of this barrel section 2, and a die 5 that discharges from the tip side a raw material conveyed from a raw material supply section 10 to a tip side with the rotations of these two screws 4, wherein a discharge end space 9A where tip end sides of the screws 4 are positioned in the mounting space 3 has a larger inner diameter than that of the mounting space 3 where a base end side 4A of the screw 4 is positioned, and the outer diameter of the tip end section screw 8 that is positioned in this discharge section space 9A is formed larger than the outer diameter of a base end section screw 7 at a base end side. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
