The present invention discloses a tilt-prevention apparatus of an electric wheelchair. Tilt and serious injury are prevented by a design that incorporates a current electric wheelchair with the tilt-prevention apparatus. The tilt-prevention apparatus mainly installs at least a level sensor on one side of platform bottom in a frame in order to detect whether the platform tilts or not. If so, it transmits a tilt-enable signal to an elevating mechanism connected to one end of the level sensor so as to actuate a servo motor to generate a forward or reverse rotation, which in turn links to move the elevating mechanism upwards or downwards to a preset altitude so that the platform can be made adaptive to a laterally tilted road to remain horizontal. Angle of a chair fixed at the platform can be adjusted to move the center of gravity of a passenger inwardly. Furthermore, the whole center of gravity is controlled to remain at inner side of the frame's wheel in order to avoid tilt of the electric wheelchair and increase stability and safety for the passenger to ride the electric wheelchair.本發明一種電動載具之防傾裝置,主要以現有之電動載具裝設該防傾倒機構設計,避免產生傾倒的現象,對使用者造成嚴重的傷害,其中,該防傾裝置主要於一車架之平台底端至少一側設有一水平感測器,用以偵測該平台是否有傾斜,以傳送一傾斜致能訊號給連接該水平感測器一端之一升降機構,進而作動一伺服馬達產生正轉或逆轉,以連動該升降件上升或下降至預定高度,以調整該平台保持水平狀態,使該平台可適應左右傾斜的路面,調整平台上固定之一座椅的角度,使乘坐者重心往內移,進一步控制整體重心在車架之轉輪內側,避免電動載具產生傾倒的現象,俾供增加乘坐者乘坐該電動載具之穩定性及安全性。
