The invention relates to a foodstuff production method, in which the produced foodstuff comprises at least the components carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Said method consists of the following steps: i) reducing CO2 and H2O by depositing O2 by introducing renewable energy and generating a composition/syngas, wherein the composition/syngas comprises at least CO and H2; ii) synthesizing the composition on at least one catalyst in at least one synthesis process to produce the food.
