PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scallop aquaculture device capable of solving such contradicting problems together that a hanging aquaculture with a weight increases harvest and is preferable, however, landing work is troublesome and complexed, and the smooth and speedy landing work is inhibited according to the hanging aquaculture with the weight.SOLUTION: A hanging aquaculture device 1 of shellfish is characterized by hanging down a rope and basket in the sea, and making the rope and basket hold spats for culturing. A weight body 20 is hung in the lower end of the rope 4 and the lower end of the basket of the hanging aquaculture device by a hanging tool. The hanging tool 21 is formed of a biodegradable plastic film. For example, the hanging tool is formed of the film made of a biodegradable water-soluble plastic product.
