PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for a basket type endoscope device with excellent operability while preventing the basket from rotating.SOLUTION: A treatment instrument for a basket type endoscope device includes a long-length cylindrical flexible sheath 2, an operation wire 3 inserted into the flexible sheath 2 in a freely advanceable/retractable manner, and a basket part 4 provided to the tip of the operation wire 3, which is formed so that a plurality of basket wires 8 are elastically reduced in diameter or expanded.
