PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet inspection device which can perform appearance inspection of a tablet and capsule, determination of dimension defect and inspection of presence/absence of a secant line and the like in the state where the tablet surface is entirely exposed.SOLUTION: A tablet printing apparatus 1 includes: a conveyance disk 5 which conveys a tablet 3 while suctioning and supporting a side surface 9 of the tablet 3； a printing surface inspection device 19 which can perform inspection of front and rear surfaces 7a, 7b of the tablet 3 conveyed by the conveyance disk 5； and a printing inspection device 23. The tablet 3 is conveyed with the side surface 9 suctioned by the conveyance disk 5, and the state of the front and rear surfaces 7a, 7b and the secant line position are detected by the printing surface inspection device 19. The tablet 3 has the front and rear surfaces 7a, 7b simultaneously subjected to printing processing by an ink jet head 6 and only the tablet with good quality is discharged from a good-quality item discharge part 10 after the printing inspection by the printing inspection device 23. The tablet 3 is inspected by the printing surface inspection device 19 and the printing inspection device 23 in the state where the front and rear surfaces are entirely exposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】錠剤やカプセルの外観検査や寸法不良の判別、割線の有無等を錠剤表面が全面的に露出した状態で検査可能な錠剤検査装置を提供する。【解決手段】錠剤印刷装置１は、錠剤３の側面９を吸着支持しつつ錠剤３を搬送する搬送ディスク５と、搬送ディスク５によって搬送される錠剤３の表・裏面７ａ,７ｂの検査が可能な印刷面検査装置１９と印字検査装置２３を有する。錠剤３は、搬送ディスク５に側面９が吸着されつつ搬送され、印刷面検査装置１９によって、表・裏面７ａ,７ｂの状態や割線位置の検出が行われる。錠剤３は、インクジェットヘッド６により、表裏面７ａ,７ｂが同時に印刷処理され、印字検査装置２３によって印字検査の後、良品のみが良品排出部１０から排出される。錠剤３は、印刷面検査装置１９と印字検査装置２３にて、その表裏面全体が露出した状態で検査が実施される。【選択図】図１
