PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize convenient operation of a spray gun.SOLUTION: The manual-automatic switching type spray gun includes a gun body. A water channel is arranged in the gun body, a button 1 is movably arranged on the back upper portion of the gun body and used for controlling opening-closing of a valve switch of the water channel, and an upper handle 8 is further arranged on the middle portion of the gun body and used for controlling a water type switching device by a pin. The overall structural device uses the button switch for water inflow and the upper handle 8 for water type switching, and thus operation by a single hand is completely achieved. The water type switching device is provided with a wedge bar 10 in the water type switching device, and a plurality of main driving wedges are evenly arranged on the circumference of a round disc of a main body of the wedge bar 10 along the central axis. The main driving wedges are matched with a water dividing wedge rotating piece to enable the water dividing wedge rotating piece to rotate to switch water types. The planes of the main driving wedges are equiangular spiral planes (logarithmic spiral planes) which are equal in all pressure angles.
