PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of a high absorbent material from an end part of an absorption sheet in a longer direction.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 is configured so that a first absorption sheet 22 is arranged between a top sheet 21 and a back sheet 23. A second absorption sheet 22a is arranged between the first absorption sheet 22 and the back sheet 23. The first absorption sheet 22 comprises a first upper layer sheet 221, a granular or fibrous first high absorbent material 222, and a first lower layer sheet 223. The first absorption sheet 22 extends from an end edge of the second absorption sheet 22a in the longer direction to the longer direction, on both sides of the longer direction. On both end edge parts of the first absorption sheet 22 in the longer direction, the first upper layer sheet 221 and the first lower layer sheet 223 are fixed to each other.
