PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a stereoscopic image without generating a blind area in the vicinity of the tip of a biopsy needle even if biopsy needle units of various external dimensions are installed.SOLUTION: The dimension information on the external dimension of the biopsy needle unit and the position information of the biopsy needle unit are acquired. The information on two imaging directions are acquired on the basis of the dimension information acquired by a dimension data receiving part and the position information acquired by a position information acquiring part.
