The present invention relates to an injection device having a reservoir (2) made up of plastic or polymeric material having a rubber stopper (1), filled with an aqueous solution (4) comprising therapeutically effective amount of fentanyl or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as a sole active agent and ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid or its salt, the aqueous solution having a pH in the range of 4.0 to 5.0 and an impurity at relative retention time of 0.5 minutes is not more than 0.2 % by weight； wherein the aqueous solution is in contact with the rubber stopper (3)； wherein the injection device is sterilized by autoclaving and the aqueous solution is stable upon storage at room temperature.La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'injection ayant un réservoir (2) constitué de matière plastique ou polymère ayant un bouchon en caoutchouc (1), rempli d'une solution aqueuse (4) comprenant une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace de fentanyl ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci comme unique agent actif et de l'acide éthylènediamine tétraacétique ou son sel, la solution aqueuse ayant un pH dans la plage de 4,0 à 5,0, et une impureté à un temps de rétention relatif de 0,5 minutes n'est pas supérieure à 0,2 % en poids； la solution aqueuse étant en contact avec le bouchon en caoutchouc (3)； le dispositif d'injection étant stérilisé par autoclavage et la solution aqueuse étant stable lors du stockage à température ambiante.
