The present invention is to provide a container for cultivating licorice and a method for cultivating licorice using the same. The container for cultivating licorice according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a box-shaped container body in which sand is stacked and the depth is 30 to 70 cm； a nutrition supply unit connected to the container body and supplying one of water, a nutrient solution and oxygen to licorice roots； a discharge unit having a valve and a faucet discharging water from the container body； and a rain shelter structure installed on an upper end of the container body to prevent cultivated licorice from touching rain drops directly.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 감초재배용기에 있어서, 모래가 적재되며, 깊이가 30cm 내지 70cm로 형성되는 박스형태의 용기몸체； 상기 용기몸체와 연결되어 감초 뿌리에 물, 양액 및 산소 중 하나를 공급하는 영양공급부； 상기 용기몸체로부터 물을 배출하는 밸브 및 수도꼭지가 구비되는 배출부 및 재배되는 감초에 직접적으로 빗방울이 닿지 않도록 상기 용기몸체 상단에 설치되는 비가림구조체를 포함하는 감초재배용기 및 이를 이용한 감초재배방법을 제공할 수 있다.
